About the Temple

Located in Karmanghat, Hyderabad, this is one of the oldest Hanuman temples in the city. The 10-foot idol of Lord Hanuman is believed to be self-manifested (Swayambhu).

History: The temple was built in the 12th century by the Kakatiya dynasty. The idol was discovered in a forest by local shepherds who saw a divine glow.

Significance: The temple is famous for Hanuman Jayanti celebrations. Thousands of devotees visit every Tuesday and Saturday.

Darshan Timings: 6:00 AM - 12:00 PM, 4:00 PM - 8:00 PM

Major Festivals: Hanuman Jayanti (grand), Sankranti, Saturdays - special abhishekams

Poojas / Sevas: Abhishekam, Archana, Hanuman Chalisa recitation
