Sri Karmanghat Sanghi Temple (Hanuman)
About the Temple
Located in Karmanghat, Hyderabad, this is one of the oldest Hanuman temples in the city. The 10-foot idol of Lord Hanuman is believed to be self-manifested (Swayambhu).
History: The temple was built in the 12th century by the Kakatiya dynasty. The idol was discovered in a forest by local shepherds who saw a divine glow.
Significance: The temple is famous for Hanuman Jayanti celebrations. Thousands of devotees visit every Tuesday and Saturday.
